Israel's foreign minister said Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has been dead

Israel's foreign minister on Thursday confirmed that Hamas' chief Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces in a military operation in Gaza. ''After completing the process of identifying the body, it can be confirmed that Yahya Sinwar was eliminated,'' a statement said as reported by Reuters.
