Death toll from Typhoon Trami in Philippines climbs to 81
![]() 2862 Saturday, 26 October, 2024, 15:48 In the Philippines, the death toll from tropical storm Trami has risen to 81 with around 20 other people still missing, due to massive flooding and landslides. Police said that the deaths included 47 in Batangas province and 28 in the Bicol region. Four Trami-related deaths were also recorded in different areas in the central and southern Philippines. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said the storm impacted over 2.6 million people in at least 15 regions across the Southeast Asian country. |
