Georgia's Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday that it was launching an investigation into possible falsification of Saturday's parliamentary election, in which the ruling Georgian Dream party secured a majority that opposition parties said was fraudulent.
It said that Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, a government critic who has repeatedly said the vote count was falsified, would be summoned for questioning on the probe on Thursday.
