The White House does not know where Assad is

The Washington administration does not have information on the whereabouts of Bashar Assad, who resigned as president of Syria, reported the television channel CBS.
„The White House told CBS it knew nothing about Assad's whereabouts,”, the channel noted.
Earlier, White House National Security Council Press Secretary Sean Savet said that US President Joe Biden is closely monitoring the development of the situation in Syria. The White House, the State Department and the Pentagon have not yet commented on the situation in Syria.
