France's Macron calls Georgian Dream founder Ivanishvili, conversation lasts an hour

A phone conversation took place between Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder and honorary chairman of Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party, and French President Emmanuel Macron, according to the Georgian Dream, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
The phone call, initiated by President Macron, lasted for one hour. "Macron expressed regret over the situation in Georgia and stated his desire to contribute to fully resolving it. In turn, Bidzina Ivanishvili thanked the French President for his initiative and welcomed the idea of joint efforts. Both Ivanishvili and Macron agreed to be in contact again in the coming days and assess the progress made. The conversation lasted an hour," the statement by the Georgian Dream noted.
