Meta working on resolving Facebook, Instagram outage

Thousands of reports were made involving Facebook and Instagram. Meta acknowledged the outage stating that “a technical issue is impacting some users’ ability to access our apps,” and is working on resolving the issue “as quickly as possible.” The outage appears to have begun at 12:40 p.m. EST and peaked at 1:05 p.m. EST, though the number of users affected has decreased since. Earlier this year, Meta experienced a similar outage that resolved within a couple of hours. |
