Tehran, Moscow could sign partnership agreement in January 2025 — Iranian MFA

Tehran and Moscow are likely to sign an agreement on comprehensive cooperation as early as mid-January 2025, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

"This will be done at a bilateral meeting in the coming future․" he said at a press conference when asked when the Iran-Russia partnership accord could be signed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on December 4 that he anticipated a new fundamental agreement with Tehran to be signed during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s upcoming visit to Russia.
