US President-elect Donald Trump has instructed his team to set up a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the first days after his inauguration on Monday, sources say, reports CNN.

US President-elect Donald Trump instructed his aides to arrange a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin a few days after the inauguration, CNN noted.

One of the topics of their conversation will be the discussion of a possible tête-à-tête meeting between the two leaders in order to settle the Ukrainian conflict.
