Rubio, Rutte Discuss Importance of Ending Ukraine Conflict

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed by phone on Thursday the importance of ending the conflict in Ukraine and the need for a peaceful solution, the State Department said on Thursday. “They discussed the importance of ending Russia’s war against Ukraine and the need for a peaceful solution,” the statement said.

The parties also agreed that the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific regions are inextricably linked and that there is a need for closer cooperation and understanding between the regions.
