He called for unity among regional nations, especially in light of certain actions by external powers that could lead to conflict. Hikmat Hajiyev, in turn, expressed a desire to raise the level of bilateral relations, noting that “Azerbaijan is one of the most determined countries among Iran’s neighbors in the issue of developing cooperation.” |
