Ruben Vardanyan's son published a video message

Ruben Vardanyan’s son, David Vardanyan, has released a video message calling for a fight against the show trials of his father and other Armenian political prisoners taking place in Baku.

After starting a hunger strike in prison a week ago, Ruben Vardanyan’s condition has deteriorated sharply.

“He is being tried today for defending the right of the people of Artsakh to live in his ancestral homelands. We must not remain silent. If the Armenian prisoners, including my father, are not released, no Armenian will be safe. If we do not stand up today, we will endanger the existence of future generations and the Armenian people,” David Vardanyan noted, calling for all forces to unite to fight this injustice.
