Russian Foreign Ministry: "Russia and the US will continue the dialogue"

During consultations in Istanbul, the Russian Federation and the United States agreed on joint steps to ensure funding for diplomatic missions, the Foreign Ministry said.

In addition, the parties discussed ways to overcome numerous irritants in relations.

The dialogue will continue through the channel between the Director of the North Atlantic Department of the Foreign Ministry Darchiev and Deputy Secretary of State Coulter, the Foreign Ministry noted.

The Russian Foreign Ministry statement also says that the American side was offered to consider the possibility of restoring direct air communication.
