Türkiye ready to consider sending peacekeepers to Ukraine

Turkey is ready to discuss the possible deployment of its peacekeeping troops in Ukraine if it contributes to regional stability, a source in the Turkish Defense Ministry said.

“Ankara’s possible contribution to the peacekeeping mission, which has not yet been clarified and is being discussed in various media outlets, will be discussed jointly with all parties if it is deemed necessary for regional stability and peace,” the Milliyet newspaper quoted a source in the Turkish Defense Ministry as saying.
