His words are quoted by Le Point. "I am ready to talk to President Putin when President Zelensky, I and our European partners consider that it's the right time" Macron said. Earlier, the French president had already expressed his readiness to talk to his Russian counterpart "at the right moment." According to Macron, this could happen in upcoming negotiations. President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting earlier on Macron's intentions, said that there had been no request to organize a telephone conversation between the leaders of the two countries. |
