The Spanish Foreign Ministry has issued a statement welcoming the conclusion of negotiations on the text of the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“Spain welcomes the news of the agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and hopes that this announcement will lead to the conclusion of a final agreement between the two countries.

Spain reaffirms its commitment to peace and stability in the South Caucasus,” the statement released by the Spanish Foreign Ministry reads.
