Baghaei: “Iran welcomes the peace treaty agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan”

Iran welcomes the agreement on a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

“Agreement on the terms of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a necessary and important step towards establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus,” Baghaei said.
