Protesters in Serbia have taken over the entire center of Belgrade, RIA Novosti reports.
The rally begins at the Brankov Bridge over the Sava River, which serves as the border of the city center, and stretches 2.5 kilometers to Slavija Square.
At the center of the rally is a camp of supporters of the head of state, Aleksandar Vučić. It is guarded by numerous police units.
In Belgrade, protesters are reportedly using fireworks and demanding Vučić's resignation.
The rally's slogan is "on15 for 15," as the event takes place on March 15, in memory of the death of 15 people in the fall of 2024 when a concrete slab collapsed at a railway station.
