At the center of the rally is a camp of supporters of the head of state, Aleksandar Vučić. It is guarded by numerous police units. In Belgrade, protesters are reportedly using fireworks and demanding Vučić's resignation. The rally's slogan is "on15 for 15," as the event takes place on March 15, in memory of the death of 15 people in the fall of 2024 when a concrete slab collapsed at a railway station. |
