Hamas has claimed responsibility for shelling central Israel

The Palestinian Hamas movement has claimed responsibility for shelling central Israel. The statement was published on the Telegram channel of the movement's military wing, the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades group.

"In response to Israel's crimes against civilians, fighters from the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades launched a missile attack on Tel Aviv," the statement said.
