French Ambassador to Armenia
Olivier Decottignies visited Syunik region. He reported this on his X microblog.

“In the city of Goris, Syunik region, we are developing friendly ties with France and love for the French language. I visited a very active Francophonie cultural center in the city,” he wrote.

Earlier, the ambassador noted on X microblog:

"I am beginning a visit to Syunik, in a spirit of friendship, solidarity, and support.
Syunik is an inalienable part of the territory of Armenia.
Its inhabitants have the right to live in peace, without fear or threats", French Ambassador to Armenia wrote.
