Protests in Turkey continued overnight.
Protesters are demanding the government's resignation.
Protests against the police for their inaction in protecting women from violence have been added to the slogans.
Law enforcement continues to use water cannons and force to disperse the protesters.
Օn March 19, a wave of mass demonstrations broke out in the country after the arrest of the opposition mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu. Imamoglu, considered Erdogan's main rival, is accused of corruption and links to terrorist activities. The mayor denied all charges against him.
