Powerful earthquake struck Myanmar

A 7.7- magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, with tremors felt in five neighboring countries, including Thailand. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. Residents of high-rise buildings in Bangkok were evacuated on Monday, the city's mayor said. The city's subway system is out of service. Rescue efforts are underway in Myanmar and Thailand. |
