#AFP: "Myanmar death toll exceeds 2,000"

A number of buildings were damaged, many people were hospitalized. The earthquakes collapsed a bridge over the Irrawaddy River and partially destroyed the historic Mandalay Palace. Օn March 28, several powerful earthquakes occurred in Myanmar, each with a magnitude of 7.7. Aftershocks were felt in Thailand, China and Vietnam. Local authorities continue to assess the losses. |
