Baerbock։"Putin is pretending to be ready for negotiations"

The United States should not be misled by Russian President Vladimir Putin's "delaying tactics," German Defense Minister Annalena Baerbock said during a visit to Kyiv, Reuters reported.

"At the upcoming NATO foreign ministers' meeting, we will make it clear to the American side that we should not act in accordance with "delaying tactics,"" she said in a statement issued after her arrival in the Ukrainian capital.

Baerbock added that "Putin is pretending to be ready for negotiations, but he is not retreating from his position an inch."
NATO foreign ministers are scheduled to meet in Brussels on April 3 and 4.
