US sees "good cooperation" from Russia and Ukraine on conflict settlement — Trump

Moscow and Kiev have "good cooperation" with Washington aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict, US President Donald Trump said.

"I think we're being given good cooperation by Russia and by Ukraine," he said.

At the same time, the US leader assured that he would like to get the conflict in Ukraine ended, and at the same time he wants to prevent another conflict, in the Middle East, from happening.

"We have to get it stopped. It's humanity," he said. "It's a senseless war that would have never happened if I was president. It shouldn't be allowed to go on."
Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said in an interview with the International Affairs magazine on April 1 that the United States’ proposed frameworks for resolving the Ukraine conflict do not address its root causes.
