US has carried out more than 36 strikes in Yemen

The United States has carried out more than 36 airstrikes in Yemen "in the last few hours" against areas controlled by the Houthi rebel movement Ansar Allah. According to the Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Sariya, there have been casualties.

"In the last few hours, the enemy (the United States) has carried out open aggression against our country, carrying out more than 36 airstrikes on several areas in Sanaa, Saada and other provinces. There have been many casualties and injuries as a result of the strikes," a spokesman for the movement said on the Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel.
