Putin bans advertising of goods and services on Instagram and Facebook
![]()  1854  Monday, 07 April, 2025,  17:09 Vladimir Putin has signed a law banning advertising of goods and services on Internet resources recognized as extremist or undesirable in Russia. The document appeared on the Russian legal information portal. Such platforms include, for example, Instagram and Facebook. Both social networks belong to the Meta corporation, whose activities are prohibited in Russia. The law will come into force on September 1, 2025.  |
