Lavrov: Ukraine will never return to 1991 borders
![]() 666 Friday, 11 April, 2025, 15:15 Ukraine’s return to its 1991 borders is impossible, and the administration of US President Donald Trump understands this, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. The Russian Foreign Minister recalled that there are people living on that land who “even hypothetically” cannot be given to Ukraine. “No way, never,” Lavrov said. According to him, “the Trump administration also has this understanding.” Earlier, Lavrov stated in an interview with American bloggers that if Ukraine cooperated with Russia, it would have the 1991 borders, albeit without Crimea and part of Donbas. |
