The Ukrainian president said this in an interview with CBS. “I would ask you, before making any decisions and holding any negotiations, to come and see civilians, soldiers, children, hospitals and churches,” Zelensky said. According to Zelensky, after the visit, the American leader will “understand what” Russian President Vladimir Putin did. He also noted that Trump, “as a strong president of a strong country,” should stand by Ukraine and not take a neutral position on the conflict. |
