‘Five killed’ in shooting on Florida State University campu
![]() 2016 Friday, 18 April, 2025, 00:27 Five people have reportedly been killed in a shooting on the Florida State University (FSU) campus in Tallahassee. Media reports are conflicted surrounding the number of people injured in the incident. A suspect is reportedly in custody. Local media outlet WFTV reported that five people have been killed and four others had been injured. Other media reports suggested that at least six people had been taken to a nearby hospital, with one of them in critical condition. Ambulances, fire trucks and patrol vehicles from multiple law enforcement agencies raced toward the campus at 5pm BST (12pm local time). The university issued an active shooter alert near the student union and hundreds of students were seen streaming away from the building. |
