#BBC: "Ukrainian Armed Forces were ordered to cease fire minutes after Russia's "Easter truce" was due to come into effect"

A senior Ukrainian military official told the BBC that Ukrainian forces were ordered to cease fire on Russian positions minutes after the “Easter ceasefire” came into effect.
The military added that instructions had been given to collect photo and video evidence of ceasefire violations and to return fire if necessary.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had declared a ceasefire on the occasion of Easter, according to which the Russian side would cease all types of military operations from 18:00 on April 19 to 00:00 on April 21.
