Pope Francis’s body to lie in state at St Peter’s Basilica

Public viewing of Pope Francis — who died on Monday at the age of 88 — will begin Wednesday, before he’s laid to rest on Saturday, the Vatican said.

Mourners will be able to visit Francis in St. Peter's Basilica, where he made his last public appearance on Easter Sunday.
