Peskov։ "Putin-Witkoff meeting has begun"

A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff is taking place in the Kremlin. This was reported to journalists by Russian Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports.
"Vladimir Putin is receiving President Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff in the Kremlin," Peskov said.
This is the second meeting between Putin and Witkoff in the past two weeks and the fourth since the beginning of the year. The last meeting took place in St. Petersburg on April 11 and lasted more than four hours.
The meeting's agenda includes a discussion of the situation in Ukraine.
Peskov noted that the problem has many sides, and "contacts, as a rule, last quite a long time, they are very useful and are a very good and reliable channel for exchanging positions between Putin and Trump.
