"The explosion could have been caused by sabotage" - Majlis Deputy

Iranian authorities do not rule out that the explosion in the port of Bandar Abbas could have occurred as a result of diversion or sabotage. This was stated by Mohammad Mehdi Shahryari, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the country's Majlis (parliament).
"The incident could have occurred, among other reasons, as a result of an attack by FPV UAVs, or as a result of sabotage, possibly with the participation of people who infiltrated from outside. One of the main options could be that it is the result of sabotage, such as an attack by FPV drones or the infiltration of saboteurs," the parliamentarian said in an interview with the Rouydad 24 portal.
Recall that the Iranian Ministry of Internal Affairs considered negligence to be the cause of the powerful explosion that occurred in the port city of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
