Putin awarded Vladimir Spivakov the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation

Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation to musician and conductor Vladimir Spivakov. The corresponding decree was posted on the official website of legal acts.
“For special services rendered to the state and people, the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation is awarded to Vladimir Teodorovich Spivakov, president of the Moscow State Cultural Institution “Moscow International House of Music,” the document says.
Spivakov has repeatedly given concerts in Armenia with his orchestra.
In 1989, the violinist was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Armenian SSR, and in 1999 he received the Order of St. Mesrop Mashtots.
Spivakov's wife, actress and TV presenter Sati Spivakova, is Armenian. They have three daughters.
