Kopirkin: "Bayramov will visit Yerevan, Mirzoyan will visit Baku"

The next meetings of the “3+3” regional consultative platform will be held in Yerevan and Baku in the order agreed by the participants. This was reported by Azerbaijani media outlets, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin said, commenting on the format of negotiations aimed at stabilizing the situation in the region.
According to the diplomat, the interaction between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan at the highest level in 2020-2022 made it possible to develop a number of joint statements. In 2021, a trilateral working group on unblocking economic and transport communications in the South Caucasus was created, co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers.
Kopyrkin emphasized that the fate of the region should be decided by the countries of the South Caucasus and their neighbors, and the key to stability is inclusive dialogue and countering external geopolitical interference. According to the ambassador, Georgia is not yet participating in the “3+3” format, but the door remains open for Tbilisi.
