Deputy FM: "Pezeshkyan can take on the role of mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia"

Iran welcomes the agreement on the text of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

As reported by Report, this was stated by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh.

According to him, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian could act as a mediator in signing a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“I believe that this issue will also be reflected in the daily contacts of both countries,” he added.
