The second round of the German chancellor election will take place in the Bundestag today at 3:15 p.m. local time, Bild newspaper reported, citing its own sources.
Earlier, NTV reported that the Bundestag would resume its session after Merz did not receive enough votes in the first round to be elected chancellor.
