Ukrainian Ambassador thanks Aliyev for refusing to attend Victory Parade in Moscow

Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuri Gusev thanked President Ilham Aliyev for refusing to travel to Moscow to participate in the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He reported this on the X social network.
“Thank you very much, Mr. President,” Gusev wrote in English.
Earlier, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov announced that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev would not participate in the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9.
