German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has threatened Russia with tougher sanctions if Moscow refuses to agree to a ceasefire.
He told Bild.
According to him, European states will coordinate their actions with the American leadership.
“Then there will be a massive tightening of sanctions, and Ukraine will continue to receive large-scale assistance,” Merz emphasized.
