India reopens 32 airports closed amid tensions with Pakistan

India has reopened 32 airports in the north and west of the country, which were previously closed due to tensions with Pakistan, the News18 channel reported.
Earlier, the Indian authorities announced the closure of 32 of the country's 487 airports, amid escalating tensions with Pakistan.
"The Airports Authority of India and the relevant aviation authorities have issued a notice to pilots to reopen 32 airports in the north and west of the country, which were closed for civil flights, amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan," the channel noted.
It is reported that last night, for the first time in the past few days, there were no incidents on the Line of Contact.
