Trump Arrives in Saudi Arabia

US President Donald Trump has arrived in Saudi Arabia for his first state visit since taking office in January, Saudi Arabia's Al Arabia television channel reported.

According to the source, Trump's plane landed at Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport.

Earlier, Trump had considered visiting Istanbul as part of his Middle East tour to participate in Russian-Ukrainian talks.

"The president looks forward to embarking on his historic return to the Middle East, visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates next week, where he will focus on strengthening ties between our nations," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Friday.
