Trump: "The world will be a much safer place in 2-3 weeks"

US President Donald Trump said he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin as soon as such a summit can be arranged.

"As soon as we can arrange it," Trump said, answering a question about when his meeting with the Russian leader might take place.

Speaking about the Ukrainian settlement, the US President noted that "we need to do it."

"The world will be much safer within 2-3 weeks," he said.
