Meeting of representatives of Turkey, the USA and Ukraine has ended in Istanbul

The meeting of representatives of Turkey, the United States and Ukraine has ended in Istanbul. It took place at the Dolmabahce Presidential Palace and lasted a little over an hour, sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry told TASS.

The first direct talks between Russia and Ukraine since 2022 are expected to begin at 12:30 local time (13:30 Yerevan time). The Russian delegation is headed by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky. He had earlier stated that the goal of direct talks with the Ukrainian side is to establish long-term peace and eliminate the root causes of the crisis.
