It took place at the Dolmabahce Presidential Palace and lasted a little over an hour, sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry told TASS. The first direct talks between Russia and Ukraine since 2022 are expected to begin at 12:30 local time (13:30 Yerevan time). The Russian delegation is headed by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky. He had earlier stated that the goal of direct talks with the Ukrainian side is to establish long-term peace and eliminate the root causes of the crisis. |
