Katz and Hasanov met in Israel

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov in Tel Aviv today, the Israeli Defense Ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, Katz praised the deep strategic alliance between the two countries, noting common interests and mutual trust.

Katz also noted the results of Azerbaijan’s Eurovision vote, in which Israel received the highest points, calling it a true sign of friendship between the two states and peoples.

The parties agreed to expand cooperation in the defense sector.
