Indian businessmen announce halt to import and export with Turkey and Azerbaijan
![]() 3948 Thursday, 22 May, 2025, 14:46 Indian businessmen have announced a complete boycott of Turkey and Azerbaijan for supporting Pakistan during the recent India-Pakistan conflict. The Confederation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CAIT) has announced an immediate halt to imports and exports with these countries. Business leaders from more than 24 Indian states have gathered in New Delhi to take a final decision on the issue, India’s Economic Times reported. Indian companies have also been strictly instructed not to shoot advertisements or films in Turkey and Azerbaijan, and if any company violates the ban, CAIT will also boycott the company in question. |
