Latvia delivers a new batch of drones to Ukraine

Latvia has sent another 1,500 attack drones to Ukraine as part of the international drone coalition, according to Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds on Twitter (X).
"Another 1,500 combat drones are being delivered from Latvia to Ukraine. Two Latvian companies will supply 12,000 drones in the first half of the year as part of the international drone coalition," Spruds wrote.
Drones for Ukraine from Latvia
In March, Latvia supported investment in the production of Ukrainian drones. The Latvian Cabinet of Ministers approved a €10 million investment in Ukraine’s drone industry.
Additionally, the Latvian government allocated another €20 million this year for the purchase of drones under the framework of the international "drone coalition."
In April, it was announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would receive hundreds of new combat drones as part of Latvia’s military support.
Recently, Latvia sent another 1,500 attack drones to Ukraine within the framework of the international drone coalition.
