36 people killed in floods in India

Earlier, it was reported that flooding began in the area of a hydroelectric power station in the north of the country due to heavy rains and the Teesta River overflowing its banks. More than 1,500 tourists, as the Mint newspaper wrote, were trapped due to floods and landslides caused by heavy monsoon rains. |
