Death toll from plane crash rises to 133
![]() 1133 Thursday, 12 June, 2025, 15:34 At least 133 people have died in a plane crash in India, News18 reported. Experts believe the plane crashed due to a bird strike. There were a total of 242 people on board the plane: 230 passengers, two pilots and 10 crew members. According to Air India, 169 of the passengers on board were Indian citizens, 53 were British, seven were Portuguese and one was Canadian. According to preliminary information, the AirIndia flight crashed into a hostel for doctors, local authorities say. At least 20 medical students may have died. |
