Zelensky announces new prisoner exchange

Ukraine and Russia have announced a new prisoner exchange. However, the statements of both sides did not specify how many people were exchanged.

This was announced by President Zelensky on the Ukrainian side.

“Today, our army soldiers, National Guard personnel, and border guards are home. They all need treatment, and they will definitely be provided with the necessary assistance.

We continue to work to return everyone from Russian captivity. We thank all those who help make these exchanges possible,” Zelensky said.

Recall that at a meeting in Istanbul in early June, the sides agreed to exchange all seriously wounded prisoners.
