The US Embassy and Consulate in Tel Aviv were damaged by Iranian shelling, the US ambassador to Israel said.

The attack damaged the diplomatic mission's infrastructure, but no staff were injured. Both institutions will remain closed today.

Iran fired rockets at Tel Aviv and Haifa overnight. There were reports of civilian casualties and injuries.
